This "demo" was made to pass out at shows for free and basically book shows at local venues. This was pre-Facebook and about the time myspace was off the hook for new bands.

This was recorded throughout the night and into the morning in downtown Los Angeles with a friend of our then drummer, Arch. It was at Mad Dog Studios which sounds like a shitty studio, but we found out Chuck Ragan recorded some solo stuff there so we thought it was pretty chill.

100 of these demos were made with the white cover. Eventually, we made another 100 with a red cover and replaced the demo version of JORDAN NEEDS A LIFE RAFT BECAUSE HIS SHIP IS SINKING with the DIRT HEARTS version because we thought it ripped a lot more.

DANCE HALL MUSIC was originally written by The Murder City Devils.

These are now out of print.
